SuperS Act 1: Eclipse Dream

The girls rejoice at making it into high school, and then Bunny and Darien leave to see off Rini who is headed back to Crystal Tokyo. On their way to the park, they notice as the rare solar eclipse happens- the new moon covering the sun, which occurs only every few hundred years. Briefly, Bunny and Rini see a white pegasus who asks for help. Then they all see a flying ship, which Darien and Raye both separately feel carries a bad premonition.

In the shopping district, the newly-arrived Dead Moon Circus sets up sale booths where Darien buys Rini and Bunny glass kaleidoscopes. It gives Crossroads a carnival feel during the weeks the circus prepares its show. After their shopping, Rini decides to stay overnight as it is late. Both girls go over to Darien's apartment for the night. Getting ready for bed, Bunny is jealous of Rini's life of less responsibility and wishes she were a kid again. Rini is similarly jealous of Bunny being grown up and in an adult's body, wishing she were that way herself.

Across town, an old haggard witch, named Zirconia, instructs the four young girls known as the Amazones Quartetto to begin their plan.

During the night, the Pegasus, Helios, comes to Rini and gives her a small bell that will call him. The next morning, she leaves Darien's apartment to journey back to Crystal Tokyo by herself, but finds the time key does not work. The Amazones Quartetto sense this attempt and send their tiger, Tiger's-eye, after her.

Bunny, Darien and Rini encounter the tiger in the shopping district, where it is terrorizing the customers, but the girls cannot transform. The power of the Holy Grail is broken without all nine Sailor Soldiers together. But then, deep within themselves, they feel a new power and are able to transform. The Quartetto arrive and attack them, and Sailor Chibi Moon takes out her bell and calls Helios with it. He takes their kaleidoscopes and transforms them into weapons, giving the Moon pair a new attack. They use these new powers to destroy the Lemures, incarnate nightmares, set upon them by the Quartetto.

The Quartetto return to the circus tent, where they take their magical gems and turn Hawk's-eye into humanoid form. Using the gems again, Palla Palla reverses the physical ages of Bunny and Rini as they transform back into their civilian forms. The girls both rush to the Darien, who had collapsed.
