Bunny dreams Darien embraces her and then crumbles away. She wakes with a start, and then gets ready for the day as usual. Darien still has not called or written her once.

A small girl with an umbrella floats down into the park. She finds a woman in unusual clothing laying on the ground.

Bunny's mom finds a cup marked "Chibiusa" [Rini's original nickname was Chibiusa] and is muttering "Chibi...?" when she answers the door to see the little girl with the umbrella standing outside.

The girls have a Sailor Soldier meeting after school to discuss their new enemy. Haruka thinks they may be from outside the solar system. They don't know if the Three Lights are enemies or allies.

Bunny arrives home to find her mom thinking the umbrella girl is her younger daughter, Bunny's little sister, "Chibi Chibi." Later, the others come to look at the new arrival in the Tsukino household, but really only find out the little girl copies what they say.

In the morning there is an airmail postcard from the US that Bunny assumes is from Darien. It is a photo of a sunset, but nothing is written anywhere on it.

At school, the girls discover the Three Lights have transferred in to be their fellow students. After classes, the Three Lights meet Bunny on the roof and ask her about Darien, which makes her head ache. Haruka comes up and orders them away.

The things the Three Lights do at school alienates Amy, Michiru and Haruka. But, Bunny, Mina and Lita still attend their next concert. As Seiya sings, Bunny is enthralled.

Bunny receives another airmail postcard. This time, it is a photo of a night sky. Still no writing.

On the school roof, Seiya sees Bunny and they talk about stars and the Three Lights single that so enthralled her at the concert. Seiya sings and Bunny senses power. Another enemy, Sailor Aluminum Seiren, appears and attacks. Taiki and Yaten, the other Three Lights, join Seiya, but Jupiter and Mercury suddenly arrive and deflect the attack. Bunny transforms as Seiren captures Jupiter and Mercury. The others arrive. Eternal Sailor Moon attacks, but Seiren uses her friends as a shield. Jupiter and Mercury dissolve, leaving only their Sailor Crystals for Seiren to grab.

The Three Lights transform into the trio from the previous time. Their attacks defeat Sailor Aluminum Seiren. They are the Sailor Starlights- Sailors Star Healer, Maker and Fighter.
