Lita has Bunny, Mina, Raye and Amy over for them all to study for their high school entrance exams under Amy's guidance. All the girls compliment Lita on her lovely apartment, have some tea their hostess offers and then settle down. Lita fidgets for awhile and then announces dinner, then she brings out an elaborate meal she prepared earlier. Amy chides her for having spent so much of the day not studying. But, that does not make Lita change her ways. After the others leave, she spends the rest of the night cleaning up her apartment again. Consequently, the next day at school she makes a poor grade on the practice exam.

On her way home from school with Bunny the girls stop by the Fruit Parlor where Liz gives them hibiscus tea, sour enough to keep them awake while studying. They all go to the cute shop where Liz bought it and Lita spends time looking around and drinking tea.

At the next study group, Lita once again tries to make tea and pulls out another gourmet meal. Amy chides her again and they all notice that Lita's apartment is still spotless, and decorated with more things... Lita must have been shopping. Lita complains that studying just isn't her, but Amy coolly replies that that excuse is just an escape.

In the cute shop, a spirit, S. Cape, appears. She explains that she wishes to lure escapists into the shop.

Lita once again scores poorly in school and goes home to study. On her way, she notices a sale at the cute shop and goes in. The spirit of the shop, disguised as a clerk, sells her a bag of goodies. Lita chows down on her purchases and she passes out under their evil influence. When Bunny, Raye, Mina and Amy walk into the shop, the spirit announces herself. Bunny pleads with Lita to snap out of it, and she does, transforming into Sailor Jupiter. She destroys the spirit and has a new determination to study and get into high school.
