Rini first enters school in twentieth century Tokyo and becomes friends with Momoko, Kyukuke, and Melvin. Their classmate, Lyrica, just started at their school as well, she is the daughter of th ambassador from Country U. She is tall, pale, and weak, but still receives plenty of attention from the other boys in her class. However, Rini and her classmates start to notice that when Lyrica has a boy walk her home, they are missing from class the next day. After Rini catches Lyrica eating a flower instead of lunch, she goes to the Sailor Soldiers for their opinion and they tell her the mysterious girl has the signs of being a vampire.

When Rini is sent to bring the absent Lyrica her missing homework for the day, she and her friends go the Embassy where they meet Lyrica's mother. When they try to leave, both mother and daughter turn out to be vampires who attack them. Sailor V and Sailor Moon appear on the scene and save Rini and her friends.
